I'm from Russia. I see a lot of polls on chambers like "What was the bloodiest war in human history?" and "What caused the beginning of WW2?" and I see answers like "Vietnam war" and "Germany". I think it is strange, because the bloodiest war was the WW2 and the cause of it was the appeasement policy of the UK and France towards Germany. But I think another thing is important here. I think we all lack knowledge of world history and know only the history of our country.

So, I decided to ask the opposite question. What is the most important thing that happened in your country that the rest of the world ignores?

P.S. Sorry for grammar mistakes. English is not my native language.
