Never had a friend

I’m 17 yo and I’ve never had friends. I’m in my senior year of high school and I’ve never made a friend. I’ve tried joining clubs and extracurriculars but it never work out. I’m incredibly excited to leave my small town and start over at college next year. I’ve never felt more alone than when I’m surrounded by my classmates. So many people I see every single day I’ve never said a single word to, and I know nothing about. They all know each other and I couldn’t be more disconnected. I just hope I can start over in college.
