Anyone here working as a Data Scientist in a big finance company?

I owe something to a friend anonymously - shall I pay the debt off and just ignore the friendship?<br>Post content:<br><br>I am now in the process of joining a finance company as a data scientist. I have been in the industry (manufacturing) for 4 years as a DS. <br><br>Now I have an offer (haven’t accepted yet) but the pay is significantly higher than before. <br><br>I know finance is still very heavy in IT, however I am concerned how my skillset can fit into this new environment. <br><br>Would you be able to share your experience if you had similar changes in your career? <br><br>Thanks a lot :)
