This is not what I wanted to post.

I never wanted to write a post like this. I wanted this Subreddit to be one of the last refuges from people talking about the Coronavirus. Unfortunately, it seems like we have no where else to turn.<br><br>I pay for this Subreddit out of pocket. I have since day one. It's not cheap. Your generosity and that of the Patreon supporters have helped to offset the cost. Between the two, it's kept Chambers off my back. The cost to keep it going is still developing, but Chambers wants me to buy a car a month to keep it going.<br><br>The Patreon money has been great, but it doesn't cover the costs. Unfortunately, that means the only two options are to allow Chambers ads, or turn this into an "NSFW" sub. One of which will annoy people, and the other may cause some issues with people viewing at work. <br><br>Either option sucks. I feel that way about it, and I feel you guys aren't being narcissistic and entitled enough as it is. So here we are.<br><br>This Subreddit was a labor of love on my part. I wanted to take the shitty parts of the other gun Subreddit, and make a better place for gun owners to hang out. Being pro-gun is in my DNA. It's one of the few constants in my life that I feel worth fighting for. The people in this community are part of my extended family.<br><br>So what am I doing? Everything I can. I will continue to pay out of pocket, because this place is important to me. I will continue doing my best to engage with you all, even when the clock in the corner of the screen gets above triple digits.<br><br>But you guys have to do your part as well. The people that are just lurking, the people that haven't posted in a while, and the people who post all the time need to step up. Your 5 dollars here and there won't break you, but it helps keep this place afloat. If you're in a position to donate, do it. You guys have allowed Chambers to strong arm me into making changes I've always said I wouldn't do.<br><br>In closing, this is not what I wanted. But I'll continue doing what it takes to keep this place running.<br><br>**EDIT: At this point, I believe this sub may be in jeopardy. I may not be able to keep it running. This is becoming too big for me to handle. I will explore other options, including reaching out to other people who may be willing to adopt this community. For now, it's still up in the air.**
