I am in the process of getting a divorce. We were married 16 years and have an 11 year old son but have been together for 23 years ... any other couples with a long term marriage that didn't make it to the 25 year mark?

So we are in a divorce. It's a whole big thing. I posted something on facebook and then deleted it as I didn't want to see a bunch of folks blasting her. I don't want anyone saying anything negative about her. I also did not want to open a can of worms like a bunch of folks asking why? I did have a few folks reach out to me and ask but I am not ready to talk about it quite yet. I did reach out to a few of my close friends and family and told them over the phone. She is not a bad person, she did nothing wrong, this is my fault. I stopped working so much, less travel, and less intensity in my career. We are both middle aged and I would say that we both realized we were not on the same path or journey any more. I had hoped that we would figure it out but we haven't really resolved much in the last few years. I think we both know that the relationship is gone. 16 years of marriage and 23 (almost 24 years) together. We will both be fine. We are not angry or bitter with each other. We are in a good place and want the best for our son. Not sure the legal timeline for this yet but expect this to take several months. Any other couples start strong but end after a long time together?
