The DIY mindset can save you money & waste, but can also lead to messing up and having to throw something away

My bathroom shower was clogged and my neighbours.<br>So, in an effort to save money and not call the plumber I decided to do it myself.<br>However, I have no idea what I am talking about, so I decided to learn and do it myself by watching some videos.<br><br>That was a big mistake, because after taking out the clogged hair, I realised I stripped the thread and now I need to call a plumber.<br>I could have saved money if I just called in the first place.<br><br>I don't know, maybe i am just stupid and it is not the mindset, but the lack of skills.
