I'm a 45o year old software developer, making a pretty good salary. I have a kid, a dog, a house, and a wife. I get stuff done at work, and do stuff for the family, but I never feel like I know what I'm doing.

House stuff, I can only do things I've done before. If I need a new part, I have to research it. I hardly know how to do anything.

Work is similar. I can only code in the one language I know, and only really have a few projects I know how to do.
