Just got back from the worst drink-up ever, and I was the worst.

My friend had just turned 18 in Korea, and wanted to try drinking for the first time. As I'm 20, he asked me to go to the bar with him. We went to a bar near our house, got a drink, and sat down. As it was his first time, I ordered a "sweet" cocktail that I took a sip of and loaned to him to finish while I drank a more liquor-heavy one.

Just as I took my first sip, a band started playing. I wasn't expecting there to be bands, but this one was quite good. So good, in fact, that I wanted to tell them. As they were finishing, I yelled out "encore!" at the top of my lungs, and then made a speech about how they should let me play my guitar. They were a bit hesitant, but I grabbed my friend's arm, yelled "MY FRIEND WANTS TO PLAY AN ENCORE!", and started wrestling my 150-pound friend onto the stage as the band members watched in confusion. I told them I was going to play guitar, and the singer's face lit up. He came over and asked me if I could play a song for him, and I said I could play a song I wrote. He said that he would sing, and after they re-set up, we started playing "Do They Know It's Christmas".

I had no idea what I was doing, and the singer didn't know the words, but we made it work, and the crowd was loving it. After we finished, the crowd cheered as my friend jumped off the stage and into a table, spilling many drinks. We both got down on the ground and started crawling around, cleaning up the spilled drinks, and everyone was having a good time. We ordered a few more drinks, chugged them, and took a taxi home, but not before giving my number to one of the band members.

Overall, I wasn't good at drinking, but it sure was fun, and we're going to attend another concert next week.
