Hello, from Sweden. I've visited your country several times. You have a lot of beautiful places, and I've had a good time there, especially when going on long road trips. It's just a shame that you have so many idiots that roam that beautiful land. I couldn't live in the USA myself, but I do like to visit. But thanks to the idiots that are now allowed to roam freely with guns, that's no longer possible.

I've been home to Sweden for over 18 months, always staying in one city. I haven't been out of this city, and have just been on a handful of trips by car in this area. It's been boring, but I was not comfortable to travel.

I was going to Las Vegas with a friend of mine next year. We've both been there several times, so we knew what we wanted to do. We were going to rent a car, and drive to the big dams, and other fun stuff. We also talked about going into the desert. We were looking forward to it, and had both saved some money. But now that's dead. We will not risk our lives like that. Also, we're terrified of card scams, as that's very common in the USA, especially in Vegas.

So now we need a new destination. We're both tired of staying home, so we want to go somewhere. We're broke, as students, we've already spent our money on saving for our trip to the USA. So a long trip is out of the question, and we need to find a cheaper destination. We would like to travel outside of Sweden, but Sweden is the safest country in the world. We're not comfortable to travel to empty areas in other countries, like we are in Sweden. But we still want to see some new areas, so we're open to it.

I'm going to some places in Europe, but it's not the same as when we rent a car, and go on a road trip. One of our first ideas was to go to the Mediterranean. It's just a short flight, and we can make some day trips in the area we're staying in.

So far we've found three good places that are within our budget:

Marbella in Southern Spain. There's a lot of beaches, and we could just rent a car for a day, or two. There are a lot of buses, and trains that run in the area so we could easily go to nearby cities like Malaga. We've talked about going to Gibraltar. We're not really interested in the city, but we think the nature would be fun to see.

The next area is the French Riviera. We thought this would be more expensive, but we found an affordable option. We'd probably stay in Nice, and then make some day trips in the area. There's a lot of buses, and trains running in the area, but we've talked about renting a car for a day to explore some areas.

The last area we're looking at is Greece. We thought that would be super expensive, but we found an affordable option there as well. We'd probably stay on one of the islands, and then go to another island, and day trips. There are a lot of day trips, and some areas are easy to visit by bus, and some areas are hard. We'd probably rent a car for a day to be able to explore some areas.

So far all of those options are within our price range, and budget. We're saving up though, so maybe other options will become available as well. We're also looking at other areas within Europe, but we haven't found any other cheap alternatives yet.

But I just want to say, that your country was so beautiful, and we had so many fun trips there. I'll probably not come back, and a lot of other Swedes will probably not travel there either. I know the political shit is hard to change, but maybe your country will become a safe place to travel to in the future. Right now we're just scared of traveling there, and we don't want to risk our lives.
