We've been together 8 years and married for 4. He's a great man and has always put his family before his own needs.

We've been having some problems with our 2 year old daughter who has been waking up at night and asking to be taken back to her bed. We take her to bed and in the morning she usually sleeps in with us.

Well, last night my husband was out at the bar until 3 a.m. catching up with some buddies he hadn't seen in awhile. He didn't call or text me to let me know he was going to be out later. I called him around midnight but he didn't answer. At 3am he walks in the front door, throws his phone on the nightstand and deadass passes out.

Well, our daughter woke up at 4am. I tried to get my husband up but he wouldn't budge. I took her downstairs to make her some food and she eventually fell asleep on the couch.

Come morning, I woke him up and explained I was pissed off he didn't let me know he was going to be out late. Then I informed him that our daughter woke up at 4am and he could've taken care of her. He started arguing with me saying I should've woken him up. I'm like, I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't get up. He's like, I didn't know since I was dead asleep and that I should've kept trying to wake him up because he would've gotten up.

I let it go but I'm still pissed off he put his needs before ours. Should he really expect me to keep pushing and shaking him until he gets up?
