I like to think of myself as a minimalist, but I'm not sure I really am.

I've read articles, watched videos, and I try my best to follow the principles. I have very few clothes (I only have three pairs of shoes, all boots), hardly any books, no fancy kitchen machines, no TV. The only clutter I have is notes for my history class written on random pieces of paper, and I won't call that hoarding. However, I still have a lot of possessions that I don't think would call me a minimalist. I still have some small sentimental trinkets like a beanie baby and some change from London, and I have way too many pens that I've actually been using a lot. Most people think I'm a minimalist, but I feel like the term has been watered down so much that almost anyone can say they're a minimalist. I don't know what to believe anymore. I don't think I really am one.
