Hello again, my lovely ladies. If you are feeling hurt or confused about the choices men have made the last few days, I have an idea for you to reclaim some of your freedom and personal power from the patriarchy. <br><br>GRAB THE GENIE. PUT HIM IN THE LAMP. MAKE HIM GRANT YOU ALL 3 WISHES. <br><br>When you get home from work on Friday, do not cook. Do not clean, do not do any of the laundry, do not run any of the errands, do not do the dishes. Do not fetch one single man a beer. <br><br>Your job requires work hours, limited vacation days, sick days, and mental health days. Taking the weekend off of mother, wife, and/or girlfriend isn't a mental health day and it isn't a vacation. It is time for men to learn to be fucking self-sufficient and do the things they need to do to be ready for work on Monday, while you save your PTO for yourself. Stay in bed with a face mask, or go camping, or go out with the girls, or go out with the boys. You do you. <br><br>And if your man gets home from work, and dinner isn't on the table, that is not your problem. It is not his job to find dinner. It is no longer your job either. Make him Google it. <br><br>Let's be absolutely clear: in this economy, the myth of a single-income family has never died off more. If you want to stay home with your kids, that's amazing, and you should be supported, not questioned. If you want to work 40 hours a week, you should also be supported, and not questioned, especially if that's what puts food on the table. <br><br>And if you want to be both - fuck it. Lets be lazy. <br><br>Let's be absolutely clear: the women who are drowning in the comments and DMs have been fucked over by feminism, too. It's lack of support and resources for mothers, lack of access to birth control, lack of safe and legal abortion access, lack of medical care for the poor, and lack of paid maternity leave and sick leave. <br><br>So to those of you who feel you're drowning, I'm sorry. It is not your fault. This is how capitalism was designed. But you do have a choice: you do not owe anyone dinner. Grab the genie, put him in the lamp, and make him grant you all 3 wishes. <br><br>Men, do you want to be free from the burden of a beer, or a ball game? Do you want to be free from being told you're less of a man for showing your feelings? Do you want to be free from being seen as less of a man for wearing a dress or skirt? Do you want to be free from aggressive and toxic masculinity? <br><br>Then get off your asses and do all the housework this weekend. And then go fight for the rights of women. <br><br>We deserve it, and we deserve better. And we deserve it now.
