Help a guy out?

I stumbled upon r/meal_prep and absolutely love the concept. I'm going to start the prep on the 1st of December, but I wonder if any of you could give me a list of meals you enjoy eating and that taste good when they're being reheated? I have literally 0 ideas on what to actually cook and my diet sucks because of that. I'm not looking for anything specific here, but please help me out here. I also have some questions that I hope you'll be able to answer.

1. Some of you say you prep for 1-2 weeks at a time. Do you keep the prepared meals in the fridge during that time, or do you freeze them?
2. I'm not sure how to stay focused on just cooking for 2+ hours, when I'm alone in the kitchen. It feels like such a chore and I can't be bothered with it. Any tips on how to stay focused?
3. How do I keep my food fresh during the prep? I'm going to buy all the ingredients a day or two before I start cooking.
4. I've read a couple of comments about people who have depression and for whom meal prep works like a charm, because they basically don't have to worry about cooking from one day to another throughout the week, which **should** make a person feel better in general. But how am I supposed to force myself to cook in the first place, when I can't be bothered with anything? One answer leads to a couple of questions.
5. How do you separate the food? I've seen some plastic containers in the sub, but I'm really not sure if they're "good" for the food you're putting in them. Do you use ziploc bags, or something else?
6. How do you guys know what kind of food you're going to prepare, how much of it you're going to prep and what kind of ingredients you'll need to buy, before you start cooking? For example, I have no idea how to determine how many chicken fillets I'll need to buy for 5 days worth of food. I also have no idea how to mix and match different ingredients. where do you people get the inspiration from?
7. I feel like I'm going to end up eating the same meals over and over again if I'm cooking alone. Maybe I'm just stupid as hell, but I could really use some help here.
