I have $1000 to travel anywhere, for up to 1 month. Where should I go?

Ok I have a grand and a month, where can I go? I’ve been to Mexico and I’m in Colorado, USA. There’s an airport in my city but it will be more expensive to fly out of it than to drive to Denver, so I should assume cheap bus or driving as a mode of transport getting out of the country. I’ve been to Mexico and California and Chicago and the gulf coast of the USA. I feel like South America is too far, but should I try to go there? Canada? Some island in the Caribbean? Should I just go to the East Coast?
