I am a student teacher currently working in an elementary classroom. I love my kids, but sometimes I feel as if I’m sharing my soul with them. I know I’m not alone in this, that all teachers do it, but how do you get away from it? How do you stop thinking about YOUR kids and YOUR school and YOUR problems? I know I’m not a real teacher yet, so I don’t have REAL teacher responsibilities, but I still worry about my kids and how they’re going to handle things. How do you go home and not think about it?
