Just Found out that the US and China are NOT the two largest polluters...

It comes down to a simple fact: they count the emissions of former colonies industrialized by the UK and the large amount of migrants in the US and attribute them to the US/UK. I have heard that if you account for those factors, the US and China are at around 10% of emissions, and the UK is over 200%. It feels like it's just a way for the UK to scapegoat their former colonies and the US. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
