Question for those who have published

I'm a new-ish writer, and I'm hoping to one day get published. I'm only a few months in, so I understand it's not something that will happen overnight, but I'm curious about the process.

For those who have a publisher, do you show your publisher your works in progress for feedback before you officially submit them to be published, or does your publisher only get to see a "final" draft of your work? And how much does your publisher influence your work? Do they ever ask you to change something you don't want to change, and how do you navigate that? I'm mostly curious as to how much creative input your publisher gets, and how much influence they have over your work? I'm still new, so I don't have a publisher yet, but I was wondering how much creative space you get to keep.
