Since I was about 6 years old, I would work at least 12 hours a day. Whether I was picking walnuts, berries or weeding with no days off for 50 to 60 days. I would have to wake up at 6am and take a bath and wash my hair in icy cold water.

When I turned 8, I moved to a city with my siblings and worked as a domestic helper for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. I had to wake up at 6am, take a cold bath, wash my hair, do all the chores in the house: laundry by hand, clean, sweep, mop. Cook sometimes.

I could sleep at 7pm and wake up again at 6am and do it all over again. I had no time off. I had to work all the time.

When I turned 11, I worked in a restaurant from 10am to 4am. I worked at least 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. I had no days off. I had to wake up, get to work, do my chores at home after work, then go back to work and then walk home at 5am.

I had no time off until I was 27 and from then on, I never had to wake up at 6am to work hard labor. From then on, I worked in corporate and had time.

I have worked really hard my entire life. When I turned 30, I had to get my ass into shape because I was quite overweight. I did a lot of exercise and now I'm much more productive. I can focus and sleep well and definitely a whole lot more productive than when I was younger.

Here are the things you need to do:

1. **Wake up at 6am**: Sleeping in is a luxury. I wish I could but I have to wake up early to get a head start and have a head start in everything.

2. **Eat a good breakfast**: Oatmeal is my go to breakfast. It's nutritious and it's cheap. Add fruits and nuts. You'll be full until lunch time.

3. **Read**: Everyday. Read books. Read articles. Read anything that will make you a better person. If you don't know how to do something, read it.

4. **Exercise**: This is a must. A healthy body can withstand the early morning and late nights.

5. **Focus**: This is key. Focus on what needs to be done. Focus on your work. Focus on your chores. If you're distracted, you can't focus. If you can't focus, you can't do anything well.

6. **Do chores**: Keep your house tidy. Keep your clothes clean. Keep your bed clean. Keep yourself clean.

7. **Learn to cook**: Cooking is a must. Learn to cook. Cook cheap. Cook healthy.

8. **Save money**: You don't always have to buy things. Be grateful for what you can do, not what you can't do.

14. **Do things correctly**: If you're gonna do something, do it correctly. If you can't do it correctly, don't do it.

15. **Be mindful**: Be present in the moment. Be mindful. Do things well. Be happy.
