Why Lithuanians are so nationalistic

I was living in uk for a short while and have been working with many lithuanians. Many other lithuanians, i see a lot in the comments also spreading the lithuanian propaganda, i dont really understand why and for whom.<br><br>From my experience after moving abroad lithuanians become more nationalistic and proud of their country than even back in lithuania. Many even openly saying they go back to lithuania to fight for their country. I dont really get it. Explaining to them that lithuanians are really avoiding helping each other even back in lithuania, and that lithuania is finishing the last of those people which were willing to fight for their motherland.<br><br>I have been to Germany and i have never seen a single german saying they would sacrifice their life for the country. Germans dont really care, same as british. I think both countries have a strong history and have both been in big wars. Their governments have a lot of trust. Lithuania has nothing, nationalistic words just to attract people. Thats it.
