I learned a dark, dark secret my mom had been hiding from me and the world from when I was a child. I don't know how to feel as a 24 year old man. I am mid 20s. I felt like I needed to share this in a safe place before I share it with my own wife or family. I just learned the truth yesterday so everything is still fresh. <br><br>My father and mother married young. My father loved my mother more than anything and I think he loved her to an unhealthy degree. From what I've learned he controlled my mother and never wanted her to do anything with friends, family, or anyone else really. From what I've been told my father was jealous and controlling and would go as far as monitoring my mother's interactions with male family members. <br><br>My mom and dad had a few pregnancies but they all ended in miscarriages. My mother was devastated as she wanted nothing more than to be a mother. My father was frustrated as well. From what I've learned they tried to have a baby for quite a long time, and after a few years and a few miscarriages, my father passed away from a heart attack. My mom was devastated by his passing. She said she didn't know how she would live without him and that a part of her died when he did. After his passing my mother was still determined to become a mother as she felt it was her life's purpose. However she felt she needed a husband first before she would do anything to make that happen. After a year or so of mourning she met a new man who would become my step father. My step father was a nice guy but my mother didn't really love him and said she needed a man in her life for her to feel confident in raising a child. <br><br>This is where it gets crazy. My mother never wanted to sleep with her new husband. Every time he wanted to have sex she shut it down. She wanted a baby but she didn't want to sleep with him. This is where it gets bad. My mother went behind my step fathers back and started sleeping with my fathers brother. According to my mom her and my uncle would meet up at least 2-3 times a week to have sex. My uncle was able to impregnate my mother and that's how I was born. According to my mother my step father grew suspicious of her and my uncle so he took a paternity test and learned he wasn't my father. My mother said my step father left her immediately. My uncle and my mother continued to have an affair until my uncle's wife learned what was happening and filed for divorce. My uncle no longer wanted to have an affair with my mother but my mom said she was happy as she had a beautiful son (me) and nothing else mattered. <br><br>I am devastated and hurt by this. I don't know what to do.
