Has anyone gone from a sales job to a career in IT?

I am interested in making a career change and I am considering a career in tech. As someone that is in a sales role now, I am wondering if this is possible with nothing but a bachelors degree in business admin and no IT experience, but 5 years of sales exp. Is it possible?
