AITA for taking off my clothes in front of my GF's dad

so my girlfriend, let's call her Sophie, and I have been dating for 4 years. And i know that when we graduate college we are gonna settle down together, i see her as my life partner <br><br>recently we visited her parents house, i have been to her parents house before and we all get along very well. so she wanted to show off a dress she recently bought and she asked me for my opinion, i told her it looks nice but she wasn't satisfied that i didn't give her a full opinion so she said, "well i am gonna wear it and you can see it" she went to her room and put on the dress.<br><br>At this point her dad is sitting on the sofa next to me watching T.V.<br><br>When she comes out of her room wearing the dress i told her that it looks amazing on her, i was being genuine i wasn't trying to flatter her. <br><br>At the same time her dad looks back at us and sees my girlfriend wearing the dress, and honestly i didn't see anything wrong with that, i mean i have my arm around her waist and she is literally just wearing a dress. but for some reason her dad got mad at me and started yelling that i shouldn't be looking at her like that, and i was like what, i am her boyfriend. <br><br>But still i was trying to be the better person in the situation and i said okay i am gonna go to the backyard so i can look at the dress without upsetting you, i walked through the house towards the back door when her dad asked me where i was going, i told him, "to the backyard so i can see you daughter in the dress she is wearing" <br><br>he got mad and said i shouldn't be saying that, i lost my patients at this point and told him, "i am her boyfriend and i am allowed to see her and talk to her however i want" <br><br>At this point he was really mad and started yelling, and i told him "fine, if i am not allowed to see your daughter wearing a dress then you can't see me wearing these clothes" and i literally took off my pants and shirt and i was there only wearing my boxers, and that made him fill even more uncomfortable and he yelled at me "how dare you, i am your elder" <br><br>so AITA for doing that
