What if gen AI (including non-language ones) are just a fad?

I don’t really like this fad (as you might expect) and to be frank, I’m not sure if this fad will last INDEFINITELY. Now, what if this fad is just as important as the dot com bubble of the early 2000’s?<br><br>Just as the dot com bubble exploded, could this happen to AI?<br><br>I’m not sure if it will leave long term effects as well
