Why I hate buying a house

I'm 34 and never owned a house. I'm feeling so uncomfortable that it's so hard to rent a house as a single woman, and better to buy a home. But it's so scary. I have no idea how to buy a house in the first place. After reading a lot of articles and talking to a couple of real estate agents, I felt even more stressed. And I came to the conclusion that I don't want to buy a home in the first place. Because I don't want to get a mortgage for many years and I don't want to get into the never-ending cycle of stuff and loans. In this case, then I want to live in a house, but I don't want to buy one.
