I've done acid a handful of times. First time, I tripped fairly light at a concert, and I loved it. It was fun.

Next time, I went on a really cool trip. Lots of visuals, some self-discovery that really helped me I think, and just a lot of fun. I felt very relaxed, took some really nice pictures, and later wrote a great poem.

Then I took some throughout a vacation in the mountains, and it was fun. Again, great visuals and a happy trip. I also experimented with microdosing, which I still think has merit as a tool.

But recently, I took a trip that wasn't so fun. I spent the last 5-6 hours of it going through the worst anxiety I've ever had. I was shaking, I couldn't speak, I was huddled in something and couldn't move, I was afraid someone was after me, and it was just terrible. And I have anxiety on a daily basis lately. I've never felt sane enough to drive.

I've already decided not to take psychedelics ever again, and I've tried to convince friends too. If you use psychedelics regularly or have in the past, please be careful with your mental state. They aren't worth risking your future.
