I’m a 23 y/o female with a passion for flying. I have recently graduated from flight school in the UK, and will receive my frozen ATPL in 2 weeks. I’m planning to pursue a career in commercial airlines.

I have a few questions regarding the career:

- what airlines can I apply for with 150 hours? (I currently have 140 hours but I’ll get 10 more next week).
- do I need a new type rating to fly for a specific airline?
- what salary can I expect as a first officer?
- how many years does it take to become captain?

I’m eager to learn about this career, and as a female in a male-dominated industry I feel like I need to be more informed about this industry in order to progress.
