How do you live your life without fancy restaurants?

I like fancy restaurants. Its just something I like, I like the service, the presentation of food, the dressing up for them. I'm also pretty picky about food. I even frequent a restaurant that is so expensive they only open for 15 people at a time and their first meal is scallops. I'm not rich, I just like to live with it. I'm not even mad as I am just confused or astonished by the fact that you're able to sit gunning for someone who enjoys something like that. I feel like I'm just like you and I'm frugal with almost everything else in my life, but I feel like so many people online are disgusted that others enjoy food, let alone expensive food. Its not even like they're like "you should save for retirement". You just enjoy food at a restaurant. Its not like you're spending a whole paycheck there either, just once or twice a week.

I just don't understand how someone who is frugal like me can live without eating at nice restaurants? How do you not crave it? I don't understand how you can go to the same chain restaurant every week and enjoy that. I dont have to enjoy steak every week to live, but I like the quality of food they use in the more expensive place. I don't use credit cards to go there, I save up for it.
