I was inspired by Google TLD’s and how they use it to track different stats. I think it’d be cool to track what different apps are doing on the web, especially in a corporate environment. Things like- a browser based app that uses a certain url that is not the main domain (eg wordpress has a secondary url that serves the in web browser app).

I could imagine how if you could visualize your iCloud usage- people might realize you don’t need a whole TB of cloud. If people saw how much their Alexa or Google home device was actually active and was logging and transmitting data throughout the day they might delete the apps.

It might actually show people the value in having your own Plex or Nextcloud. It’s so hard to visualize how much bandwidth is being used on your local network and that’s why people use cloud options.
