Am I a minimalist if I only buy minimalist clothing?

This question pops up in my time to time. I really want to be minimalist, the idea of it really draws me in, but I also have a hard time giving up my over 10,000 books. I buy a lot of them second hand, and I have no interest in taking the time to try to sell them when I am done with them. And I like having them around, I understand that I’m hoarding them.

So is it enough in today’s day and age to just only buy minimalist clothing even if it comes in different colors? Are you a minimalist if you do that and just have other items, but only what we need, not necessarily what is minimal in appearance?
