Does anyone else feel uncomfortable seeing groups of people who follow the “hottogoth” aesthetic?

I truly am sorry if I offend anybody by asking this question but here it goes. Isn’t the “hottogoth” aesthetic just a fetishization of people with mental illnesses? I feel extremely uncomfortable seeing people actively express their desire for the thin, sickly looking stereotype of a goth associated with mental illness. It’s kind of like a less mainstream version of the “waifugoth” aesthetic.
