Did Mitch McConnell just hint at the Democrats winning the upcoming elections?

Hey, it’s just a random thought, but I’m watching the speech Mitch McConnell is currently giving in the US Senate. He just spoke about the support for Ukraine and said it doesn’t stop after “the elections in November”. Does this imply that the Senate Republicans don’t expect to win the presidential elections nor take control of the Senate in November?<br><br>Edit: for those saying the current president supports Ukraine. Yes, that’s right, but he will continue to be president until January 20, 2025.
