Why are tsundere so damn popular and overused in anime?

I just hate them. All of their "I don't really love you this is the first time I've actually experienced these weird feelings! i'm going to insult you because I secretly love you! (why the fuck would i even do that?). I'm going to ignore you, come back, and kiss you. Now I'm going to slap you for no reason, and then I'm going to kiss you again!"<br><br>Tomozaki just released and it's already in my top 10. Why can't these anime exist more often? The tsundere genre is so really in need of a cooling off period.
