Do YOU get medical accommodations for YOUR health issues?

Lately my principal has been giving students with medical conditions medical accommodations. For example one student has “essential oil breathing issues” so we all need to be fragrance free and scented soaps and hand sanitizers are no longer allowed in the restroom or classrooms. Another student has a condition where they can’t do any physical activity.

I have them too! I have TMJ and migraines that would be greatly helped by less noise, especially loud sharp noises and startling (suddenly turned off lights). Can I fill out medical disability accommodations and ask principal/ district to accommodate my TMJ and migraines?

I’m willing to bet they won’t honor it.

Edit: I had a massive migraine on Friday. I asked the vice principal for ear protection like the kids use. She said no, she didn’t think that would be effective. (It’s worked for years) I then called my principal and asked if I could leave early and go home. He said no, I had to stay and if I wasn’t feeling better I should go to urgent care. Maybe I’m just an ass kisser, but I stayed.

Edit 2: I’m not talking about ADA here. I’m talking about disability accommodations that we can approve on a case by case basis. I would like to request disability accommodations for myself.
