How to use a Roth IRA to give your kids $$ for college?

I have a Roth IRA and so does my wife, and I've got a college bound kid coming. I can withdraw the principal back out to pay for college. We're pretty sure our income will be too high to qualify for financial aid. <br><br><br><br>How does it work?
