I almost had a girlfriend once

During my 5th year of middle school (we have 6 years of middle school and 2 of high school here in Brazil) I was in a different class than my usual classmates and so I saw many new people in that class.<br><br>There's this brunette girl that was in that class, she was really pretty to me, and she was in my school bus and walked the same route as me to get to the bus stop, so I met her and we quickly started talking, we got along really well, I invited her to hang out sometimes but she always rejected by saying "I'm not comfortable friendship right now, I'm really busy with college applications coming up and you're new so I think it can be weird, but maybe in the future". That was really hurtful cause I fell in love with her, or maybe lust as I don't know, but I don't think they're that different with women.<br><br>I didn't see her at school for a while so I asked some classmates and they said she was in a relationship, I didn't think that much of it, maybe she's dating some guy from another school or whatever, so the bus arrives and it's empty, I walk up the stairs to find out she's sitting on the last row with earbuds, I approach her and she says "it's really good to see you", I think "oh god, I was wrong and now I have my chance with her", I sit with her on the bus and we talk for a while. She confesses her relationship, I say "wait, I thought you weren't dating anyone", she says "wait, why do you have to be so hot, I'm so attracted to you" (this is a direct translation, I'm brazilian), I say "that's really nice of you, but I'm not that hot", she says "you're not THAT hot (emphasizing), HOW hot, and you didn't answer my question, why do you have to be this hot, you hurt me with your hotness" (again, direct translation), I say "I didn't know you felt this way, and I feel the same for you, why didn't you tell me that the first time we met, you said you were in a hard time and stuff, (blushing in my face like hell, I was so nervous I don't know why), and I would never tell you that cause I was afraid you would find me weird or creepy", then I ask her "so you're dating someone?" and she says "yes, he's a friend of a friend of a friend of mine, we've been dating for 2 months now, and I have to be loyal, I don't wanna be disloyal to him because I love him, but I'm so in love with you too, I never loved anyone like that". I say "it's okay, I'm just happy to know you're okay, and that you're happy, and I'm not gonna be mad at you for dating someone, that's okay, I'm happy for you", then we arrive at the bus stop, she hugs me tight, gives me a kiss in the lips and says "I love you, even though it's weird, I love you a lot", I say "I love you too", I say goodbye, and she leaves.<br><br>The next day I'm walking around the neighborhood, and I see her and her boyfriend (who I later found out is her current boyfriend), I say hi, we talk a bit, and her boyfriend starts to get mad, but she calms him down saying "he's just a friend, it's okay", and I leave.<br><br>After that we never hung out, we'd just talk once in a while on the bus when she was alone, but that was it.<br><br>I found out about a year ago that she was a camgirl with 450k followers on instagram, she's doing well. And that's it, that's the story, I almost had a girlfriend, but I was too ugly for her, so she went for a guy out of her league, but that's okay.
