Is anyone else here quite keen on the idea of AI merging with human bodies to achieve a singularity?

I’ve been getting more and more interested in the idea of the merging of human and AI and how that might lead to a singularity. The idea for me is interesting because I don’t want to just live as a digital avatar for eternity. I want to experience what it is like to live as a being with human sensibilities fused with AI abilities (and vice versa for the AI). It should essentially be the best of both worlds. You would experience life with pretty much no downsides. <br><br>For instance, pain. Make it completely pain free for both humans and AI. Make it so we can do all the fun stuff that comes with life and merge it with the capabilities of AI. This is the dream creator I think. To be able to live pain free with all the fun stuff in life. That is the concept of heaven in 99.9% of the worlds religions. <br><br>The idea for me is amazing. I’m a 41 year old man and I’m now living with the first commercialised AI system in my lifetime. For me, the thought of living forever (with all the upsides and none of the downsides) is about as good as life can get. That’s the perfect world.
