A few weeks ago I was frustrated and asked you all for advice on how to get rich. I wasn't expecting many responses but the comments blew up. I had so much fun going through them, many were ridiculous, some were useful, and a few were amazing.<br><br>The initial post had no shame and was very raw but here's a list of what I currently have and what I want to do...<br><br>​<br><br>What I currently have now:<br><br> 1. Wife. <br><br> 2. Car. <br><br> 3. A little bit of cash in my bank account. <br><br> 4. A new born daughter who is very healthy thank God. <br><br> 5. A good paying full time job with decent benefits. <br><br> 6. A small house at the outskirts of a big city. <br><br><br>What I currently have in debt:<br><br><br> 1. The house. <br><br> 2. Car. <br><br> 3. Credit cards. <br><br> 4. A lot of student loans. <br><br> 5. Other minor loans. <br><br><br>What I would like to achieve in 2025:<br><br><br>1. Spend more time and effort on my parents and family.<br><br>2. Pay off some of the debt.<br><br>3. Go to the gym regularly. <br><br>4. Improve my resume and apply for some promotions at work. <br><br>5. Improve my budget and make it more sustainable. <br><br>6. Travel and enjoy nature more. <br><br>7. Read books and watch movies on finance and wealth creation. <br><br>8. Find a way to get rich.<br><br>​<br><br>A lot of the comments were jokes but some I found really useful and many just pointed it out bluntly to do what's already written above. <br><br>I'm going to take each point one step at a time... so far I've done this<br><br>* Reconnected with my family and wouldn't let them go without a hug goodnight. <br><br>* Created a debt repayment plan... I know it's not a lot but we're managing it well. <br><br>* Been to the gym twice so far... not bad for someone who's never been before. <br><br>* Put together a new resume and cover letter in 20 minutes and have already applied for a promotion.<br><br>* Discovered a useful finance calculator app.<br><br>* Improved our grocery budget to save ~$50 weekly. <br><br>* Found a nice park to walk at every weekend. <br><br>* Borrowed a few books from the library.<br><br>I did it all by myself.
