I’ve read that high achievers tend to oversleep, not undersleep. Thoughts?

I’ve been playing around with my sleep routine for the last few weeks and I’m making good ground. I have a problem with insomnia, sleep deprivation, etc. I’ve been reading all sorts of articles, research, and tips. One thing in particular that caught my eye is that several high achievers such as Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Marie Curie, and others sleep for 7 or more hours per night. Now, I understand that this isn’t an exact science. I think sleep is different for everybody. But my question is, is it possible that the emphasis on oversleeping is overblown and we should instead be focusing more on getting MORE sleep, not less sleep?
