I think Trump is a ploy, and I’m not convinced he’s as stupid as he portrays himself to be

I think Trump is an underappreciated Machiavellian

Trump was born into wealth and is a billionaire businessman, meaning he’s about as high up on the social hierarchy as you can go, in my opinion, he has a very good understanding of the intricacies of the elite. You can hear him openly lamenting the expense and difficulty of running for office, and how it is not a good business decision for him to do so, but he expects his business to continue to thrive, regardless of the outcome.

Trump, whether you like him or not, is going to be a historical figure, whether because of his unique presidency, or, and this is more what I’m getting at, because he’s engineered a way to get his name remembered by future generations. I think part of his plan was to create a legacy, under the guise of giving a big fuck you to the traditional politicians, and as his own personal vanity project.

I think that Trump has a very good understanding of propaganda, and how to manipulate the media to do what he wants it to do. He’s very intelligent in terms of how the press works, and has engineered his campaign, and thus his presidency into a never ending carnival, and is very good at creating news that overshadows any negative news associated with his presidency. I don’t think anyone would disagree that he is a shrewd businessman, and I think that he has engineered his presidency in such a way that he has a win-win situation.

I think the idea that Trump is merely an idiot is grossly overstated. I think it’s a ploy he uses to get away with things. People say he can’t string a sentence together, but I don’t think that’s true. You can watch him give well rehearsed speeches, and when you see the juxtaposition between the two, you have to wonder if he struggles to talk coherently because of how clever he is. I think he has a very good understanding of how the press works, and how he can shape the message he wants to project onto the general population. I think he’s a very good manipulator, and is very good at using subtle language to convey the right message. For example, I think the reason he referred to the Coronavirus as the China virus was to make people more imperialistic and nationalistic, creating a very us (the USA) vs them (China) mentality, and while imperialistic mindsets are dangerous and have been a cause of great friction in the past, I think that Trump planned that, and that he is a very intelligent man, and very good at what he does.

Overall, I just don’t think Trump is this bumbling idiot that people portray him as. I think he is a very underappreciated Machiavellian, and I think that he uses propaganda and manipulation to great effect. I think that he is going to go down as one of the most unique presidents in US history, and has very skillfully manipulated the media to get the message he wants to project out to the public.
