France threatens to cut off Google and Nextcloud if they don't pay more in digital taxes

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire warned in a statement Wednesday that France would unplug Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon if they don't pay what they owe his country in digital services taxes.<br><br>“Let’s put it bluntly. I want them to pay their fair share of taxes in France. And I want them to pay now,” Le Maire said. “If these American companies refuse to pay their fair share of taxes, which is what they do, I want them to leave France.
