I stole 300 dollars worth of laundry detergent when i was 17. They had security cameras and caught me at the door. They called the police and i was arrested. I cried and begged and almost ended up wracking up assault charges too but anywho, they let me go, no jail, and just charged me with shoplifting with the promise that i would come to court. <br><br>I came back, shaking, sweating and crying at every word that i said to the judge. I got put on probation and they took my license away for a year. It cost me 1700 to get it back. <br><br>My court fees were 3200. <br><br>I had to pay back 500 to the store to pay for the cameras and security that caught me. <br><br>I was fined 300 dollars. <br><br>So my grand total came out to be about 5600 dollars. And i didn’t even get to keep the god damned detergent?! <br><br>It was fun and scary in the moment to do. I won’t lie, it’s fun to steal sometimes, but damn, not worth it in the long run.
