I don’t think I’ve ever seen a romantic comedy with a guy as average and normal as me, why do they always make the male characters so flawed?

The typical rom com HEA ending with the nerdy guy getting the girl with looks way out of their league makes sense because the male lead is socially unaware, self absorbed, compulsively lying, manipulative, a creep with no social skills or simply just a total weirdo. <br><br>I’ve seen plenty of guys like this get their HEA and I’m not even a bit like that and I think that’s why I’m still single.
