Love Coursera courses, but you know, between work and school I barely have time to talk to my wife, let alone study during the day. So I collected my own top tips for how not to fail. I don't have time to read books, but I can do this. <br><br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>>Everyone needs to learn how to learn. Know the difference between rote memorization and actual learning. <br>Test yourself repeatedly, practice frequently. <br>Don't try to cram: knowledge takes time to sink in. <br>Don't go on autopilot. <br>Learning is a full-contact sport. <br>Almost everything that we do in our everyday life is called learning in the lab. <br>Motivation is what gets you started, habit makes you continue. <br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>>It is not enough to know how to learn. You have to want to learn. You have to want to own your own future. <br>You have to want to own your own future. <br>Don't just sit when you're invited to dance. <br>You don't get the luxury of being bored with people who are more fortunate than you. <br>Show up.
