For the last few years, I've been reading up on various economic systems for obvious reasons and i am curious to hear your thoughts. I am not an expert in this topic, just someone who wants to learn.

I have read about the following systems:

1. **Monetarism:** A system in which the central bank plays a key role in the economy by setting interest rates, regulating money supply and acting as a lender of last resort in times of financial stress. It is often associated with free-market capitalism and limited government intervention.

2. **Keynesian economics:** An economic theory that suggests increased government expenditures and lower taxes can help an economy recover from recession. It is often contrasted with \*monetarism\*.

3. **Free market capitalism:** An economic system in which private individuals and businesses own and operate the majority of resources and businesses, with the goal of generating profits in a competitive market.

4. **Marxism:** A political and economic ideology that seeks to create a classless, equal society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the community as a whole. It advocates for the abolition of private property and the establishment of a socialist or communist system.

5. **Social democracy:** A political ideology that combines elements of capitalism and socialism, advocating for a mixed economy with both public and private ownership of resources and businesses, as well as a strong welfare state and social safety net.

6. **Fascism:** A far-right, authoritarian political ideology that emphasizes nationalism, suppression of political opposition, and the creation of a totalitarian state.

7. **Anarchism:** A political ideology that rejects the idea of a centralized state or government, instead advocating for voluntary associations, mutual aid, and the absence of authority and coercion. Although there is no \*real\* example of anarchism in action, there are many historical and contemporary examples of societies in which \*anarchist\* practices have thrived, for example in \*Zapatist\* communities in Chiapas, Mexico.
