How do you get rid of unwanted Christmas gifts?

I HATE returning a gift to the store and I have not gotten a store bought gift from anyone in years, because these people would rather buy you something useful than a present now. I would never purposely return it to the store with the goal of spending the money on something else but I don't like it when people give you a gift that you would never use or you don't like. <br><br>I would rather you gift me money on things that I actually need and would use than giving me a random gift that you thought I would like. I don't want to return anything and I don't want to keep useless items either. What do you do with Christmas gifts you don't like?
