I’ve never been so proud of my students.

I’m an elementary general music teacher and our school delivers singing telegrams for valentines day. The kids worked for weeks on singing this song and today was the day. <br><br>I’m having a particularly hard day with a health condition and was close to calling in, but I wanted to see it through for the sake of these kiddos. I had to stop and take videos of all the classes today and I heard the kindest comments and happiest gasps and one close-to-tear-up moment from a teacher for her 4th-grade class. <br><br>I love my job and I’m so proud of all of them and to see their confidence as they’re growing close to the end of our time together. One class even learned a few bars in sign language and I was floored. I’ve never felt so appreciated and proud of my hard work as today and I’m so grateful for my students and coworkers. ❤️
