Twitter is falling apart and it’s taking thousands of years of institutional knowledge and social relationships down with it<br><br>Twitter’s API is breaking, which is causing connections to very important tools to break down<br><br>The platform’s recommendation algorithm is increasingly untrustworthy and is becoming an unreliable way to surface important information<br><br>Twitter itself is breaking down, with many important accounts becoming unresponsive and people becoming unable to receive system notifications<br><br>The platform’s owner is almost never available and doesn’t respond to cries for help<br><br>Twitter’s Moderation tools are breaking, which is allowing foreign propaganda to spread much more aggressively<br><br>Twitter is dying, yet there is no suitable replacement available.<br><br>​<br><br>I don’t know what the future holds for Twitter, but it’s shocking that we’re letting it die.
