My experience with a recent date.

I seriously don't get how anyone dates in this modern era. I had my first (and last) date with a young woman from bumble.<br><br>So, I go to pick her up from her parent's house and she's not ready so I have to wait in the car. Usually not a big deal, but I sit in my car for 40 minutes before she comes out. She gets in the car and immediately goes on her phone, doesn't even say anything to me. We drive to the restaurant and I try to engage her in conversation but she just gives me short answers and keeps looking at her phone. At this point, I'm thinking this is a total waste of time and that I should just drop her back off at her parent's house.<br><br>We get to the restaurant and sit down at the table. As soon as we sit down she pulls out her phone again and starts texting. I'm in absolute shock. I ask her to please put her phone away as we're on a date. She says fine and then asks if it's ok if she orders a glass of wine. I say ok, why wouldn't we be able to, it's just dinner. She then proceeds to ask me to buy her 4 glasses of wine, which seriously pisses me off.<br><br>After the 3rd glass of wine, she orders another and then I ask her if she could please slow down on the drinking. She then says to me "I can do what I want". At which point I seriously lose my shit and tell her that no, you can't do what you want on a date with me. I then ask her if she needs a ride home. She says yes and I say ok but, I'm not giving you anymore of my time. She tells me how ungentlemanly I am for not being more patient. I told her I'm not going to sit here and watch some entitled, rude and ignorant young woman get drunk and waste my time.<br><br>I dropped her off at her parent's house and told her to stay the fuck away from me. I blocked her on bumble and will never speak to her again. I seriously can't believe some young women these days. Why would I EVER in my right mind want to date someone like this seriously. I'd rather die alone.<br><br>This is my experience with modern dating, if you have any different stories I'd like to hear them.
