I posted this back in April on r/TwoXIndia, and there were lots of interest, so I posted it on r/TwoXEurope, r/TwoXAustralia and r/WitchesVsPatriarchy on reddit. Here are the results:-

**r/TwoXIndia:**-

* Most were not surprised, saying that this is what happens when a majority of the population votes for a right-wing government.
* One mentioned that the situation over there is like how it is in India, with religious nationalism and misogynists ruling the roost.
* An American woman who lives in Kerala right now said that while she loves India, she is glad to be here, saying that India as a nation is not as far gone as the US is.
* Many wondered what this will mean for the rest of the world.
* Some mentioned that they were more afraid about the situation in their own nation than they were about the USA.

**r/TwoXAustralia:**

* An American woman who lives in Australia said that she is ashamed to call herself American. She said that she has lived in Australia for the past eight years, and that she loves the nation, and is planning to apply for Australian citizenship, as she felt that the US is a lost cause.
* One said that she has stopped using tiktok and Instagram, as she is tired of seeing Americans rant and rave about such matters.
* One said that she is more concerned about the situation in Australia than she is about the USA. She said that the right-wing LNP is trying to pass more regressive legislation, and the ALP is not doing much to resist this.
* One said that the right-wing parties in Australia overall do not go as far as the GOP does.

**r/TwoXEurope:**

* An American living in Portugal said that she is getting dual citizenship within two years, because she does not want to stay in a nation that she says is going backwards.
* One said that what is happening in the US is a fitting punishment for decades of imperialistic behaviour.
* One said that what is happening in the US is what is happening in much of the world, including Europe, and that the only nations that are going in the opposite direction are the Nordics.
* One mentioned that there is a trend of women living in the USA moving to Europe, either temporarily or permanently. She said that in her city, Stolkholm, there has been a massive influx of American women trying to find jobs and starting businesses.
