I love this sub but why does every post have to have "I'm not a great cook but..." or "I eat this for school/work everyday" or "My friend posted my meal prep on their IG, they didn't give me credit"

What do these phrases mean? What do they do to help? Why do people feel the need to put these phrases on their meal prep posts?

Also, why do people feel the need to say "I know this isn't really a meal prep because I'm eating it for school/work" as though you need to explain yourself because apparently it's not a "good enough" meal prep if you eat it at school or work.
